Coffee: Not Just Addiction, it's a Lifestyle.

If you think about it, coffee really is an addiction during the earlier stages of your "caffeinated" life when all you think of is devouring it. I, myself had gone through that stage. I have had days when I find my self driving to a local Starbucks (most likely where the one i work at.. LOL) and get the strongest coffee I could have and drink it in an instant only to find myself wanting more. And this for the sake of drinking my coffee and have the day over with. This fetish probably also came with amountful sugar Starbucks add to there flavored lattes that's why my body keeps looking for more. It also got me through late night studies, or late night workouts or even through my whole day. But once you pass that "addiction" stage of it, the habit becomes a part of you, a lifestyle. Nowadays, (after almost 4 years of depending on coffee) i don't have that eagerness on wanting coffee like i did before. I just simply find my self grabbing for my favorite mug at home and start brewing me some coffee as part of my daily routine. It instantaneously became a part of my everyday life. I can't differentiate yet between my habits before to what I have become now. All I can really say is that I LOVE COFFEE???? hahahaha

Everytime I drink my cup of coffee though, I cannot get my mind off of thinking its pros and cons. So I did a little research about it which for the most part I already know of.

So here are the pros and cons... that ive heard and read about.
Pros:
+ Antioxidants
+ Good for cancer (specifically ovarian)
+ Controls Asthma
+ Lessens the risk of kidney stones.
+ among others...

Cons:
X Heartburn
X Addiction
X BP
X Ruins Circadian Rhythm
X Dehydration
X Dependence
X Cost????

ahhh.. whatever it is... i still love my coffee. I still maintain my control, although i still believe a coffee a day, shoos eileen's trouble away. =)

Big Kiss,
Eileenie
